Breaking News or Broken News?

Only in Amherst can you peruse a newspaper with nothing of note to report dated 12/26 on Tuesday evening 12/23.

Sooooooo…. if terrorists hijack a C-5 and torpedo Amherst Town Hall tomorrow, we would not read about it for a week-and-a-half in the venerable Amherst Bulletin.

Now you know why the bricks-and-mortar media (especially weeklies) are endangered.

I am new to this Blogging business. I've been reading some of the past blogs and as a parent, I have a question for the town officials--why hasn't there been a full investigation of the Amherst maintenance department? Those are our children that are being put at risk. Why doesn't the paper do some real reporting and "see" if there is ANY truth to these aligations, just because someone remains anonymous doesn't mean there is NO problem. Let's put that sunshine on that area and then let's put all this to rest and let parents have some real comfort in knowing our children are safe!

Now that Peter Crouse and Ron Bohonowicz know about this site (and they DO know!!!) what neat things have they been doing in the maint/trans dept as of late?

And what have they been telling employees to do in the special meetings they've been having?

Hey Ron! Hey Pete! Just a word of advice...

they wont cover for you forever...

Anyone attempt to enter Wildwood Monday or Tuesday? Needed skates. How about some sand in the parking lots? Not too much to ask. Less than warm water.

Yeah, the Bully and Gazette need to figure out the difference between watchdog and lapdog.

Wake up, watchdog! At its last meeting, one of your favorite SB lapdogs again forgot to disclose her COI - but this time disclosure may not have been enough: she would (and should) have been required to recuse herself - you'll need to do your homework to figure out the details (which dog to bark at and why) - or do you only bark at big dogs who won't even bother to bark back (because they find you mildly amusing)?

Yeah, I only bark at the BIG dogs (that need to be restrained); and now that Awad is gone and Weiss is fading fast...
